A(LIVE) URBANISM CAPSULE


The final project everyone's been waiting for this whole semester. The A(live) capsule.This is where everyone's workmanship skills are put to the test. Not only the workmanship but also the creativity on how your creation can stand out amongst all your classmates.


Let me tell you this, this final assignment really got the best of me. I had several mental breakdowns in the middle of the night, being sleep deprived for nearly a month, the late night Skype sessions with my friends so that we wont fall asleep. Me and my friends, we went through a lot for this semester and thats why, in the end it was all worth it.


The space given was a two 20-footer shipping containers where we were asked to configure the layout according to the site. The location of the project is located in between the two rows of shop houses at Ipoh Old Town, Perak. We initially started to visualise the space programme and daily activities in the space given


We had numerous tutorials with our lecturers and it really helped us develop our design in a way that it developed ourselves too. We found out what were our strengths and weaknesses

As tutorials and pin ups passed, we get more and more anxious for our final submission, as each and every one of us have the same mission is to make our lecturers satisfied and proud with our works HAHA. Just to see a smile on ms Aida's or Diana's face can make our whole year alot better.
